Gift Aid explained

Gift Aid is a scheme introduced by HM Revenue & Customs that allow us to claim an extra 25p for every £1 that you donate, at no cost to you.

If you are a UK taxpayer and have paid income tax or capital gains tax in the UK and if this is equal to the amount of tax that Salama UK will claim on your gift aid donations, you qualify for Gift Aid.

For us to claim this, we require a one-off declaration from you, which you can give us by ticking the option when you make a one-off donation, or emailing us to let us know you qualify if you set up a standing order.
